Hotell Carl XII is located in Ed, one of the most frequently visited tourist resorts in Western Sweden. The hotel has a magnificent view with verdant nature and wide lakes in two directions.

Accommodation

The hotel has 25 rooms, whereof three small suites, two with jacuzzi. They are furnished in a romantic edwardian style with modern comfort. The majority of the rooms has a beautiful sea view.

Food and entertainment

Our restaurant Karolinen is able to seat 120 persons. The opening hours vary with season. Please contact us for additional information and reservation!

In the restaurant, in our nightclub Kungskällaren and on the Terrace, we frequently invite troubadours and DJs and arrange theme nights and various shows.

Service and communication

In downtown Ed you will find a pharmacy, a bank, a food store and various shops. About a kilometre away you will find a health care centre, a cinema, a gas station and a five-and-ten. Within walking distance there are a bus and a train station with good communications to for example Gothenburg and Oslo.

Sightseeing and tourist attractions

There are many possibilities for recreation and sightseeing in the area. There is the waterfall Brudslöjan, Dalslands Moose Ranch, Eds MC- och Motormuseums samling, the museum of local history and a defence construction from World War II, to mention a few.
